How To Remote Play On PC/Mac From PS4

Everyone loves to carry their gaming experience with themselves wherever they go. What if you could play your PS4 games anywhere? Actually, you can do that. You just need a PC or a Mac with enough power and at least a resolution of 1024x768.(Duh. Everyone must have better!)

To remote play on your PC or Mac, follow these steps:

Download and install PS4 Remote Play App for your OS.

Go to PS4 and head over to "Settings".

Scroll down to "Remote Play Connection Settings".

Check "Enable Remote Play". Now select "Add Device" option.

A code will appear. Note this down.

Open Remote Play App on your PC or Mac. Connect your Dualshock controller to your PC or Mac.

Click on "Start" once you're done.

Log in to your PSN account you used to in your PS4. Your PS4 will be searched for a moment now.

If it doesn't find your PS4(which happened to me), click "Register Manually" button.

Enter the code you noted down and click "Register".

Now you'll be prompted to choose the streaming quality, frame rate, and text entry device.

Click "OK".

Now you can play all your favorite PS4 games on your PC or Mac. The PlayStation website says that you need internet connectivity of at least 15 Mbps but 5 Mbps is like okay with lower resolutions. You must also have at least 2 GB or more RAM and a processor with 2.40 GHz or more. You can also use the app on your PC or Mac to turn off your PS4 and use voice commands.
