I came up with this tweet of a guy named Sam(@ahyperteddybear) asking Donald Mustard, the director of EPIC Games if he was "interested in making it fro switch". I respect that man for asking such question!
The answer to the guy was that they would do the game for Nintendo "at some point". Then came up a swarm of people requesting for the game to come up early.
For the ones who don't know about the game, the game is a free multiplayer online game which drops you on a map and you need to survive to win each online match. It came after PUBG made this genre of games popular.
