Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ Features Leaked Via Retail Box Image

While the world is waiting for the revelation of Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ at MWC 2018, an image showing the details of the upcoming flagship smartphone has emerged online. The image showing the retail box of the handset has revealed most of the features of the flagship smartphone if not all.

The image which has surfaced on Reddit shows the specifications of Galaxy S9. It shows that the device will feature SuperSpeed Dual Pixel 12 MP OIS (f/1.5 and f/2.4) camera at the back with variable aperture. The variable aperture could potentially allow the user to pick the one that best suits the environment. This will be something new that Samsung has packed in its smartphone.

The image specifies that the handset will come with 5.8-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display with rounded corners, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of onboard storage, 8 MP AF selfie camera, IP68-certified water and dust resistant body, Iris scanner and wireless charging support.According to some comments, the new camera technology in the S9 will offer a Super Slo-Mo mode at 1000 fps like in Xperia Z2 Premium.

It will also include stereo speakers tuned by AKG as well as AKG earbuds. It is yet to be revealed about the front facing speakers as we saw in Google Pixel 2 XL. The flagship smartphone will be officially revealed at MWC 2018 next month. The new smartphone is expected to feature a Snapdragon 845 SoC and Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. But some sources say that it will have a new Exynos 9810 SoC unveiled earlier which has face recognition and artificial intelligence under its hoods.

The S9+ which will supposedly launch alongside the S9 is rumored to have 6 GB of RAM (which is lower than that of OnePlus 5T) and up to 512 GB of storage and dual camera.
