The Far cry series has been with us since the good old days of 2004 and over the years evolved in the gameplay. The Far Cry 5 is still a few days (wait till Feb 27) to come but before you buy it, (or pre-order it) you must know these things about the game.
The Game Has Too Much Violence And Gore
I know that every Far Cry game is an 18+ game but this game in the franchise is like the goriest of them all and has very disturbing content. Every video game footage of Far Cry 5 I could view had some gory scenes in it. Take for example the one in which a man is hung dead on a signboard to the Hope County, the in-game city. Showing such an image here would be disturbing for some viewers so it would be better if I don't try to do such stuff.
Make Your Own Character
Yes, you read that right. Just like other Ubisoft games like Ghost Recon: Wildlands and The Division, you can now make your own character. Make his face, add a mustache and many more. This is the first time that Far cry franchise has added such a feature.
Play With Your Friend From Start To End
Now, this is really a great feature in Far Cry 5. You get a good co-op campaign and can play just like that from start to the end. This will make the game more fun and you'd surely want to replay it one more time.
Hire Animals and Humans of course
We all must have seen this in Far Cry: Primal and it was very useful. again, you can call your animal buddies and use them to take out enemies and even snatch their guns and bring them back to you. Also, you can hire a number of characters that assist you in the game. These characters are not like normal NPCs because they have their own backstories kind of stuff and are quite exciting.
Planes, Planes All The Way!
Far Cry games have a vast world and need you to explore it to complete the side quests and main missions. So you just need a vehicle and FC 5 has a plethora of options to choose from. And the most highlighted one here is planes. while we had a little flying machine in Far cry 4 but it was just not good. FC 5 has a range of planes, thanks to the in-game buddy Nick Rai.
Go Fishing When Not Killing Goons
The game has hunting, crafting and along with that is fishing. This new ability of your character is somehow interesting to look forward to because somehow, fishing in video games has been kind of a good time pass. Just look at how fishing is a part of many games from the old Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time to Final Fantasy XV which will be coming to PCs.
You Need To Make In-Game Choices Wisely
Yes, you do need to have a good behavior even in a single game. It is because of this new game mechanic called "The Resistance Meter". This ensures that you repay for what you do. For example, if you are killing way too much people, one of the people of your villain cult Eden's Gate will seek you and kill you. So beware of them!
PS4 Players Get Lucky!
If you are a PlayStation 4 player, then you will get early access to new skins, a car with a baseball theme and early access to SMG. It might not be an earth scattering offer to PS players but at least you get what others don't get early!
Pre-Ordering Bonuses
If you like to pre-order games, then you must do the same with this game if you want the Doomsday skins, a Chaos pack, and a 1911 handgun. Also, the game has a Deluxe, a Collector and Star Exclusive Version for those of you who want those Far Cry 5 Merchandises.

The Season Pass includes 3 new locations which are actually very irrelevant to the game. You can understand by these pictures. Also, we get Far cry 3 Classic Edition with it.
