Nintendo has confirmed that it's working on an animation movie of Super Mario with Illumination, the studio behind the movies like Despicable Me and Minions.
If you have seen one of the Illumination's movies then you know they are great at it. And now when it's about an already great game, then expect things to get better. Also, the movie is being co-produced by Shigeru Miyamoto - the creator of Mario and other iconic Nintendo characters - and Chris Meledandri, best known for his work on Despicable Me.
There's no word about the release of the movie but the huge fan following for Super Mario is getting bigger with Nintendo already being sold 9 million copies of Super Mario Odyssey for Nintendo Switch.
