The Apple HomePod will release officially this month on 9th but pre-orders have started last week only. Regular customers will have to pay $349 to get their hands on the voice assistant, but Apple employees are getting it with a flat 50% discount if a tweet from Mark Gurman is something to believe.
According to Gurman, the discount will be available for the first couple of months.
So if you work for Apple and want the Siri controlled voice assistant competing with Amazon's Alexa and Google's Home for half the price, then this the best time to get your cash out of your wallet and dig into your savings.
Also, an OTA update will come with extra functionality.
