By the end of 2018, there is a slight chance of getting new emojis. Unicode Consortium, a group that helps make open standards to allow people to use computers around the world, has announced that around 157 new emojis will join in the existing 2666 emojis when the Unicode 11.0 standard is released in June.
The 157 new characters are expected to include variations in skin tones and new hairstyles for men and women including red-haired, curly-haired, white-haired and bald.
As for the animal lovers, you get peacock, hippo, swan, kangaroo, llama, parrot, lobster and mosquito(What?)
Want to express your love for food? New emojis got you with mango, leafy greens, bagel;, moon cake, cupcake and a salt shaker.
also coming among these are emojis for science geeks which include a lab coat, goggles, microbe, test tube, petri dish and a strand of DNA.
Then there are also some in the miscellaneous category like a receipt, jigsaw puzzle, suitcase and even a roll of toilet paper(Seriously?) Check out more of them in this video:
There is also something that may break your joy of using the new emojis that not all emojis may get selected for both iOS and Android devices. It is up to the manufacturers and software makers to add them to their respective software.
